The inventor of this bottle, was a prominent grower in New York State, and would move on to become a prominent politician in the state. This bottle was produced before the war, and had been commonly found in campsite excavations. The following article shows a Yeomans bottle which was dug at the winter campsite of the at Stoneman's switch Virginia.

Interestingly enough, since posting this reproduction online, decendants of the original inventory, Theron G. Yeomans contacted me. They are sorting through the family archives, but were excited to share a picture that they had of the inventor, along with an image of laborers working at the Yeomans company farm.
